Did anyone try on this forum soft-mount?
When standing still there are no vibrations. I think it's just micro-vibrations from the road surface. Btw I tried recording the video on my iPhone 6s holding it in my hand and driving and there was no jello effect. So it looks like we really need some really good mount that would cancel all vibrations.

Many people have these dash cams with gps nowadays. Do you think it's possible to grab video from there and sync/overlay with lap timer data?
For example I have DOD LS460W

You can use almost any external video material and overlay it with LapTimer. I doubt quality of dash cams will be too compelling, but just try it. Check Video Documentation from
www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation for instructions.
GPS - no.

FWIW, This was done last week at Road Atlanta with an IPhone 6s+ With Ram Mount.[url][
https://youtu.be/mlj89cJ3M6Q/url] It has had the YouTube stability treatment. Glad I stumbled across this thread. I thought this problem was peculiar to me.

Video quality is very good there. I'll study the documentation and will try to combine video from there and overlay from lap timer.

I used an ultimate outdoors phone cover for my Iphone. It has a rubber inside and produced good stable results even when only cable ties to rear footrests.
