Re: No video in timer mode
It never pays to be an early adopter of a new iOS generation.
Re: No video in timer mode
Update:
I was able to get the video view to work after restarting the app 3x and selecting the race button. It stopped providing the camera view once and after I restarted the app again, it has provided the view every time except for the autocross feature. The video view shows the same white screen with the recording buttons at the top of the screen. Even after all of the restarts, the app will not provide the video view for autocross.

Re: No video in timer mode
FYI (no questions)
Installed the latest update. v19.0.20 Sept 12. Race/Timer usage is still intermittent with the shift of the video off the mostly WHITE screen of death
so you can not cancel.
Seems to be a little better than before the update. Multicam control Discover is off.
I can not figure out a process that always works yo avoid the fail (White screen)
Until this gets fixed I will focus on the charts and forget about video.
When one have to get out on the track on DE days you dont have time to screw around getting it working.
When the app 1st comes up its in portrait, same with race and same with timer page, poke video and get landscape, x out and the timer page is
perfect landscape, back to race and its 1/2 panel landscape, and same back to with laptimer page, but then forward to Race and you can see it all in landscape
and then same in timer or video. I have poked around on and, of course, when you are trying to get a fail it does not. When I go to the
outside test area or track it does and I just forget about video.
Due to the hassle with GoPro Hero3 (file transfer and exact sync) I have decided to only use the iphone5s video or not use video.
Also the pic in pic is just to0 small to read my G, acc, and brake meter on my dash with it. Would need a full
left and right screen image vs the track image and the small pic and pic or use the GoPro of the meters as the master.
But the real issue is that the video file takes too long to download at the track even with a high end SD card in the GoPro.
Also the Race page only show Timer and Speedo (page not converted correctly to landscape) but not other options in the but that minor since I am always using timer page.
Another graphic WHITE PAGE issue is trying to show the Realtime Acceleration page in landscape. Fails. All white. Have to go back to the
INFO page, get into portrait and then get back down to Acceleration to get it in portrait.
Maybe there is an expert setting to always use a specific format and not do auto rotate if that is the problem but I dont see it there.
Poking video seems to always auto rotate into landscape independent on camera rotation.

Please check viewtopic.php?f=39&t=1693
I have updated it to the status of 19.0.22 - which is in Apple review already.
Most (if not all) problems with screen layout should be solved now, keep your fingers cross.
For Race: tap the yellow star of Timer tile and you will get it on top level and save the time to navigate down.

Re: No video in timer mode
Glad to hear the fix is submitted! I was about to chuck the phone out the window (iPhone 6s).
