Is it possible to use the timer or speedo and record video with multicam? Of course with HLT controlling the external cam.
It depends, here are the scenarios:
LapTimer v19, iOS: internal cam and external cam (MultiCam) can be controlled in background with Timer and Speedo active while driving
LapTimer v19, Android: to control internal and external cam (MultiCam), you need to stay in Video View
LapTimer v20, iOS: same as before, in addition it will be possible to record with an external cam only
LapTimer v20, Android: additional mode to control external cams only with Timer or Speedo active
The workaround to use Timer / Speed in Android and still get footage in v19 is operating an external cam manually. You can transfer and sync footage recorded later (see Video Documentation).
