You should probably be directing your complaints to Apple, as it seems to be a problem with their firmware, not HLT. If the iPhone 6 can't be forced to turn off or lock autofocus and turn off video stabilization, there's nothing Harry can do about it from his end.DanMay wrote:Any update on better video when using the IPhone 6 ? iPhone 6 Performance?
Unfortunately I guess Apple will always be upgrading the cameras for better photography and things like FaceTime etc. and probably never the type of fast motion / fixed focus and even global shutter we would like for onboard videos...there's simple too much Action cams out there becoming better, smaller and cheaper while smartphones are growing in size.

I also want to know if the iPhone 6 GPS receiver still work at 1 Hz or at a higher rate.
Re: iPhone 6 Performance?
There is not smartphone yet featuring more than 1 Hz for the builtin GPS. It is simply not necessary for "normal" smartphone users. Instead, a higher rate would consume more battery. Actually I have stopped checking for higher update rates in smartphones.
On the other hand, the iPhone6's GPS is a little more sensitive (compared to the 5S) again. I can hardly find any place in my dwelling and office not showing a GPS lock.
