Ahh good to know.

OK so how can I confirm the Qstarz is working then?

When I connect it and go to the GPS screen I see the GPS update rate climb from 1hz to 4-4.1hz which is inline with what I'd expect from a 5hz gps receiver.

Yes, if you see an update rate > 1Hz consistently, it is not the internal GPS. Please check the other values in GPS View to understand what is working and what ist not (coordinates, speed, altitude, direction, # satellites).

From what I remember, only speed is missing.

Everything else appears to work.

I'll report back after testing again tomorrow.

Thanks for your help so far.

OK did some more testing on the way to work and it appears the issue is the conversation between Roqy and LT, see below.

This is the screen on Roqy that shows your device as working, I'm driving down my street at this point.

Have you tested operation without roqyBT and external GPS?

I then switched on LT and opened speedo view.

It moved to the current speed of the car but then would not move again from that point. As if it only took the initial speed reading from the GPS.

Here's the satellite screen showing greater than 1hz operation but still a static speed.

I then switched off bluetooth, Roqy and the gps receiver and let LT use the internal sensor which worked fine for the speedo.

I'm a bit surprised accuracy is 10m with the GPS receiver at 4hz and only 5m at 1hz, I'm assuming lower is better.

I should add, I have no issues with the GPS receiver on an Android with RaceChrono (But I want LT for the ease of Overlay and video etc).
