Harry, what are the +/- times superimposed on each sector in the lap chart measured from? I would have thought from the best sector but even the fastest sector shows a time. Maybe from the reference lap?

Also, what changes in the lap chart depending on what lap is selected (the lap from which the lap chart was entered)?

Thanks.

That's the change compared to the last lap, i.e. the bar to its left.

Thanks for the reply. It would make more sense to me for that to show the change from the reference or from the best sector. And I think using some consistent reference would be more useful for comparing laps to one another.

There are lots of charts comparing to the reference lap (whichever is chosen). The Laps chart is mainly to show lap over lap development - which is the reason deltas to the last lap are shown. You can't show everything in one chart. Instead, you need to select the chart showing what you are interested in ;-)

It would be nice, then, to be able to turn off the numbers as they are distracting.

I love the laps chart but when something like traffic throws off a lap, it makes the numbers largely irrelevant. One would better see the progression in laps if the numbers showed time relative to the reference lap/sector.
