Finally getting round to doing this calibration before the trackday next week. Do you mean to compare the GPS speed in HLT with the speedometer display? Obviously, you can't have GPS and OBD at the same time on Lap Timer.Harry wrote:Hi,
Bad weather / no sun, this makes videos a lot less attractive. Cams need light, if that is missing, results are a clearly what you get on bright days. The video actually looks good from my PoV, try again on a sunny day and you will be really happy. On speed: LapTimer displays what your car's sensors deliver. Usually OBD speed values are a little below what you see on your dash. In case the sensor is misadjusted, you can certainly get wrong values from OBD too. I'd suggest to "calibrate" speed value by comparing GPS and OBD speed during a highway drive with constant speed. In case OBD is below GPS, adjust the Speed Multiplier Expert Setting LapTimer provides in the OBD Tweaks section.
