The numbers shown are the speed you would achieve with any of the gears reving the engine at max rpm. So especially for the highest gear the value will be a theoretical value. For a sports car using gear ranges to achieve best possible performance, values should be similar. For cars with an overdrive last gear, you will see a substantial difference between speed achievable in reality and in theory.
