Dirt bike course

Post by lvsranch »

I am wanting to use my laptimer to keep track of a hare scrambles course. A dirt bike race through the woods in which we do about three laps around a ten or eleven mile course laid out with arrows pointing the proper direction. How do I get the laptimer to recognize the course?

Hi,

Sound like you will simply set up your individual track using the "New Track" assistant available from the starting page of LapTimer. You walk to the position you have the starting / line crossed repeatedly, and run the assistant. Afterwards, LapTimer will start timing each time you cross that position. Please make sure you place the phone somewhere you get a really good GPS reception. I assume a case like the OptrixXD is mandatory for dirt bikes.

Thanks Harry. Yes I have a really good case and I was hoping it was that easy. I am really impressed with all that the laptimer can do. Thanks for making such a great product.
