Time Left calculation

Harry,

How is the Time Left calculated? Does it use current speed? Average speed? Something else?

On the Trip page it would be great if current and max speed could be displayed. I realize that current speed is shown on the GPS page, but I don't want to be switching pages while I am driving. Rather than adding these speeds to the page, maybe the user could configure what info was displayed. Example: user could tap on Avg. Speed Moving and configure it to show Top Speed instead.

Or perhaps there could be a User page where the user can pick 3-5 items to display and they can be large to make them easy to read?

Finally, in my limited testing, it appears the app doesn't run in background, is that right?

Time left is calculated from the average time traveling, i.e. the average speed excluding the times when standing still (e.g. drinking some coffee to refresh). Background operation is not supported.
