Problems with crashing @ 10hz

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

I am using a jailbroken iPhone4 with BTStack and a QStarz 818XT. Any time I try to use it at 10hz the LapTimer app will crash around 30-40 seconds.

It seems to work fine at 1hz with the 818XT or the internal GPS.
