Hi,
i used harry's laptimer yesterday and have some issues.
I am using version 17.0.3, a Qstarz 818XT with RoqyBT 4 1.4.0-1 and a GoPoint BT1 on a iPhone 4S with a jailbroken iOS 6.1.2.
Since i have this problem: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1141
i coupled my gps mouse as Generic OBD like here: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1044
1. Now i have some problems with my obd data. The values are "jumping". Could this be a problem because gps data is attached by lan?
2. The video seams not to be synced correctly. The accelaration is ahead the video - you can see it at the hair pin in my video.
3. I attached an external microphone (iPhone headset). In video mode there is a switch but i am not able to activate it. The recorded sound seams to be from internal microphone. In the middle of lap my iphone stopped recording sound. Any idea how this could happen?
Here my video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fVyZa_LDTI
Thanks in advance,
Stephan
Problems: OBD, Video Sync and Audio
Re: Problems: OBD, Video Sync and Audio
I cannot help on 1) the roqyBT stuff, connecting a non-certified GPS through roqyBT while using a certified BT OBD does not look like a predictable configuration (may be the friends from roqyBT can help)... On 2) Search the forum for "sensor delay video" (please use the embedded Google search) and you will find plenty of discussions. Using the delays in Expert Settings you can tweak the timing of all sensors and video - but it is a complex thing. 3) The switch allows selection of different audio in channels - as long as iOS provides them. Headsets usually replace the internal micro. This area is not well documented in iOS and I have not been able to connect external mics so far (others have, please Google again here).
