I cant use all of HLTPs awesome features! My '93 Miata is NOT OBDII compliant.
I'm looking at the Hydra Nemisis and the MegaSquirt PNP Gen 2 ECUs for my '93 Miata. Both ECUs are CAN compliant and will send data via serial to a connected laptop. The ECUs begin data logging when enabled via software on the laptop.
I did find a module from Roving Networks (www.rovingnetworks.com) that converts serial to WiFi. The Roving Networks part number is RN-131, with a developer's version of RN-134.
Would HLTP be able to read/store/sync CAN data from an aftermarket ECU?
Any suggestions, short of buying a new race car?
Thanks!

Re: Non OBDII ECUs?
The people at http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark? ... =99460&p=1 hack into Denso ECUs , which don't have an OBD-II dataport. They might be able to help.
