OK, I've had some success with using a higher res file. I can make 1280X720p work, but not 1920X1080.
I updated my iPhone4 to the OS6.0 and updated the iTunes to 10.7.0.21. Also ensured that I encoded the file with h.264.
I think my iPhone4 just isn't up to 1080p. At least 720p is pretty good.

Here's the 720p version;

Here's a pic of the error message when I try to synch(transfer the file to) the 1080p file. Maybe the iPhone4s or 5 can do it...

Yes, that's probably the reason. You may try transferring the video directly into LapTimer's Documents folder. Just a try, maybe it works. Use the iExplorer tool linked in this post: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=679

Thanks. Never heard of iExplorer, but I already love it!! Apple's software is such a pain to move files back and forth on iPhones. I'll have to try that now as well. :D

But you are aware how many man years have been wasted because people start manipulating things on file level? ;-) There are always pros and cons... Actually I feel bad every time I need to recommend a user to use that tool...
