This might be a stupid question but...

Post by The HACK »

Can HLT be transferred from one phone to another? I just upgraded, after 3+ years, from an old 3Gs to an iPhone 5. And instead of doing a "restore" from the 3Gs onto the 5, I ended up just downloading the apps that I want from the App Store (I've heard restoring can sometimes cause usability problems). Now I notice the "in-app" purchase of certain features (the professional features like video and such) from the 3Gs wasn't available in the HLT download onto the iPhone 5...

How exactly would I transfer the HLT with the in-app purchased features onto the new phone? Or can that even be done?

I'm pretty sure in App purchases are just like re-downloading Apps: simply re-download the in App feature and it won't be charged again, even if at first glance it seems different...but you might want to wait for Harry's reply [WINKING FACE]

Confirmed, just load it again, you will not be charged again.

This presumes you are using the same itunes account as you had on the first phone. I don't know if it is supposed to work this way but I have an iPad also with the same itunes account and it let me DL Harry's to the iPad too. I haven't used it in a car but I have used it to goof around a little.
