Hi there,
I've had LapTimer for a short while and used it at several autocrosses. Having the data immediately after a run has become very valuable to me. However, one thing I'd like to see in the app is the ability to "lock" a certain chart view and disable the "swipe to change charts" feature. For instance, when viewing Speed vs. Distance and trying to zoom/pan into a specific section of the course, the app sometimes interprets my scrolling as a swipe and changes to the Lateral Acceleration vs. Distance graph. I'd like a way to (temporarily) disable the swipe feature and stick to the current chart.
Hopefully this isn't too difficult to implement. Thanks!
Lock Chart View to a current Chart
Re: Lock Chart View to a current Chart
Hi,
Thanks for proposing. Actually, the current implementation of the swipe / zoom function in the charts area needs to be reworked anyway. Opposite to your case, I have received quite some feedback users are not able to swipe - which is the other end. In addition, I plan to add a cursor to readout specific values - again something that will change the code in this area. I will do the refactoring first to check if it really necessary to add additional mechanisms. Please give me feedback once this is done (scheduled for v17).
