Silverstone GP Circuit POI

Post by **betsy** »

Hms, Have a proper read through this thread buddy, everything you have mentioned or asked for is above ;)
I'm happy that the new and old Google maps show up the Red/White lines that the coordinates relate too :)
No need to guess any of it!

Let me know how you get on...

Hi,

Is this the current configuration? It seems the shape has changed a bit too, so it makes probably sense to not only move the start / stop but do a redesign? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Silve ... ersion.png

Sorry,
not had time to move things yet.
Silverstone shows the current GP circuit here:
http://www.silverstone.co.uk/track/circ ... x-circuit/
but helpfully doesn't show the start/finish location.

Did anyone manage to update the Silverstone track with the correct start-Finish?

Bump
The Silverstone GP Circuit (ID 1109) still seems to have the old start finish line.
I guess it is sort of correct as it is used for certain event - while F1 uses the line at the new Wing Complex.
So there should really be 2 versions - the current and a new with Start-finish at the Wing.

I can see on the web site a Silverstone GP Circuit (ID 2001) by Michelin is listed in the Track list - but it can't be found from the on-line list in HLT.

Any updates will be appreciated

Thanks

Hi,
just working on the new layout... ->
is the position of start/finish at the new wing the only change to the track layout?

Thanks,
- Monika

Hi
I got the new track downloaded - and it looks like the Start line is located correctly.
I can only really check it in 2 weeks time when I go there - but thanks for the update.
