[SOLVED] No landscape mode since v16

Post by vtecing »

Ever since I updated to v16 i have been having issues with landscape mode. Every time I put it in landscape mode it will go to the lap list page. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app already with no success.

Here is a video to further explain my situation.

Thanks for your help

Hi,

That's actually as stated in the release notes. Landscape is not implemented for all view (specifically Racer's and Classic). Once you turn while you have this views open, LapTimer will select another view capable of landscape. Due to the fact the Timer view is not part of LapTimer Standard, the Standard version is a bit handicapped currently as it misses any timing view. I will add other views to landscape in the future. Till then - if you do not have features added, you may stay with portrait.

Oh ok, thanks Harry, must have been an oversight on my behalf. I downloaded Timer view and works perfectly. Bit disappointed I used to have video function, now that I deleted and reinstalled the app I have to pay for it again :(

That is fixed in v16.0.3 You can switch to landscape from any portrait view now. See the small fee for the timer view as an upgrade fee for all the new functions you received during the numerous free updates ;-)
