Custom track issues

Post by vlad4md »

Hi, is this a known issue on latest iOS, iPhone 15, or is it just me? :)

Is it possible to switch to google maps overlay?

To summarize the video, it is very difficult/nearly impossible to add a custom point on the map.
Also, I was wondering if I am doing it right, as I have looked to some other tracks and seems that it should work fine.
As for now, I can't get usable data with this custom map setup, I am yet to understand what the issue is.

Thanks for the video. You are right, dragging POIs around is not working well currently. It has always been difficult to implement because a drag operation can be either one to select a different map location (i.e. move the visible area around) or dragging a POI. One of the recent iOS version changes probably requires an adjustment, I'll add this for the next bugfix release. You will get better results by waiting a few seconds before you start dragging after having tapped the POI. So kind of a tap, hold, move gesture.

When dragging a POI, its position change isn't reflected properly either. You see the change once you release the POI. This is not expected behavior either.
