Bugs with Adding and Overlaying Videos

Post by Dubbedown »

Having 2 odd issues with video overlay that I never encountered before:

1. Despite opting to add the video for ENTIRE session vs single lap, the app only links the video to a single lap. Note, I recorded the external video manually (did not use the internal iPhone camera at all so not sure if that makes a difference).

2. Despite choosing "dynamic map" on overlay options, the final overlaid video does NOT show the map at all.

3. Lastly though the timer is showing the MPH on video is fixed at 0mph??

Any help would be appreciated

This sounds like an issue with data, not video overlaying. Please select a lap overlaid in Lap List and scroll down to the Data Recordings section. Do you see a map display here and when going into the analysis screens, is reasonable data shown?

You are correct - I didn't even realize the amp was missing. I'm not sure why this happened as my other laps came through fine (using BadElf gps dongle + OBD MX Wifi). I assume there's no way to fix this?

The only thing you can do is checking System Backups for a database with the same number of laps but more details. In case a lap misses detail data, this is usually some issue with the database.

Independent from overlaying - please run Check Data on your current database too. Otherwise future recordings may fail too.
