Updated External Cam Compatibility Matrix

Post by MR RIZK »

Harry, any chance for an updated matrix of the below which is found in your online doco? Looking to move away from a Hero 3 which I have been successfully using with HLT however information in this forum about newer model compatibility has pieces everywhere.

In essence seeking the latest model of Hero that has the features/compatibility of the Hero 4

HEROs 5 to 7 behave like the 4. HEROs 8 and later are not officially supported. But you can use them manually and add footage to LapTimer later (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXjVb8nWCXI).

Good thing i used the search function. Was looking for this for my Hero 9.

Are there plans to integrate Hero 8+ features?

I haven't seen the update yet, I'm also looking forward to the new features of Hero 8+.
