24.8.1 on Android 12. Everything was fine then selected "verify data" and the app suddenly crashed and the phone said "laptimer closed because this app has a bug. Please update after the developer provides a fix for this issue." Since then if I try opening it it only shows the timer on a grey background for a second and then closes. Periodically it will put up the same "this app has a bug" message.
Not sure if it is relevant but a few minutes prior I had upgraded from petrolhead to grand prix.

The upgrade is not related to the crash. This is most probably a database problem Verify Data revealed.
To get the app up and running again, the current (corrupted) database needs to be inactivated.
