But please be aware that version isn't as thoroughly tested as the original version. But I'm currently not aware of any problems with it

I am having problems on last step when upgrading the bootloader on the Feather (as I got the error messages when pushing the code). Hope you can point me out to some simple procedure, because I cant wrap my head either on Adafruit site or info in YouTube…

Upgrading the bootloader I can't help you with, I think I've only done that once on some odd board years ago. Why are you looking at that?

COM is ok, so the messages i received are as mentioned in your Github:

File "nordicsemi\dfu\dfu_transport_serial.py", line 243, in send_packet
File "nordicsemi\dfu\dfu_transport_serial.py", line 282, in get_ack_nr
nordicsemi.exceptions.NordicSemiException: No data received on serial port. Not able to proceed.

Seemingly related with the bootloader needing an update. Can’t figure it out yet
