IPhone 14pro with L5 band gps

Hi, I have an iPhone 14 pro max (iOS 16.1) and with the new gps with L1/L5 band the accuracy must be 5x higher (~50cm).
I see with Al kind of gps apps that the accuracy is the same as the iPhone 12 Pro with L1 band.
Is it a bug or something Els?

Accuracies shown for the iPhone internal GPS are just the values reported by iOS. So there is no app logic added here except reading and displaying it.

BTW: do not take accuracies reported by GPSes too serious. They always come with a disclaimer of being achieved in some percentage (95%) of all measurements, but you really can't be sure. I suggest to use it for judging conditions relatively. So once you know the best possible accuracy (long time outside without shielding), you can always check if accuracy is still at that level when in the car.
