Laptimer will not open

I have HLT Grandprix on Note 3 - Android 5. Been using for few years no issues. Just did update now the app will not open . Keep getting error message "Unfortunately, Lap Timer as stopped"

Uninstalled, reinstalled, restart etc. will not open.

Any help appreciated.

Are you on Android 5 and have you reinstalled the app too? Please keep in mind uninstalling the app will purge all recordings.

Yes, I reinstalled. Yeah found that out after I notice the storage was significantly lower
Wanted the data more than the recordings.
