OBD2 data in overlay video seems 'delayed'

Post by KraftwerkTurbo »

It appears there is quite a delay between the shown OBD2 data and the video.
Can this be improved, or is this an inherent issue with bluetooth OBD2 adapters?

Also, can someone link me how to select what OBD2 data is displayed (and how it is displayed) in the overlay video?

OBD2 is a lot slower than what you can see from in-car devices (like your dashboard). This however is compensated when overlaying data. Please search for "sensor delay" here on the forum, we had numerous threads on this. I recommend to tweak the video delay before fiddling with individual sensors.
