Hello, I have Grand Prix Edition v20.2.2. I've used Lap Timer many times successfully, but today I had some trouble.
My last two sessions, in the lap list, the lap has a video camera icon, indicating it recorded video, but when I go to the lap details window, the video is listed as "missing" in the preview window, and no video is in the Video list.
Completely separately, I manually recorded some GoPro Hero 5 video. I did not trigger using Harry's, I decided to do it manually, and import the video later. Since the video is "missing" I clicked edit on the lap, and deleted the missing video reference. However, I can't get Lap Timer to accept the GoPro video as a master video. I've tried several different ways.
1) Downloaded the whole video to the camera roll, then in the lap detail, click edit, then add the video. This did not work because the video does not appear in the list of available camera roll videos, even though when I switch to the camera roll, I can play it fine.
2) Connected to the gopro, then browsed for the video. I successfully select the gopro video from the session, and select the sync point at the end of the lap. It gives a warning "Number of laps available for multi lap overlays reduced due to inconsistent sync points." then advises that I adjust the full session, which I did. Then when I click "export" it says "invalid master video, reference pip video included". If I go ahead and click "" it says "Error, Master video not available".
So my basic question is whether it's possible to replace a failed master video with an external gopro video.

Please make sure you have granted Photos access for LapTimer. You find this setting in Settings app (iOS) ‣ LapTimer. In case other videos stored in Photos appear in LapTimer's Video List / Camera Roll section, there is probably a refresh missing. Try to kill LapTimer and start it again to force a reload.
For the internal video, this is mostly some memory issue or an interruption of video recordings (incoming calls, alerts). Although it should be protected, please always make sure you have stopped (video) recording before finishing / backgrounding LapTimer.
It is definitively possible to add an external video as a replacement for the missing internal video.
