LapTimer does not change the number of fps when overlaying. It simply decodes frames one by one and encodes them afterwards. So if the result is 30fps, the original recording has been 30fps too. NB: changing the video settings in your video app does not change LapTimer's video settings.

But in the lap timer video settings I can only change the resolution and not the framerate.

Feels like ages since I've been on the track. Couldn't believe how much the app has improved in the last year and half (it was great even then)!

Recorded with GoPro3+ and iPhone 7 front facing.

Bedford Autodrome in a completely stock 2006 Mazda MX-5 NC 2ltr ( Miata ).

First ever car trackday day, really happy with Harry's LapTimer app.

Now need to start saving for some coil-overs and tyres that don't turn to snot after a few laps though it was a very hot day.

Latest track day from few weeks ago. My GoPro 3 kept reverting back to medium angle POV even though I kept changing the setting to narrow. Didn't realize till afterwards I need to go to Administration, settings and change multicam settings. In any case, my setup:

iPhone 7 front facing (PiP)
GoPro 3+ master camera
Audio-Technica Pro 24 microphone (mounted in rear hatch)
GoPoint BT1 obd
XGPS 150A

LapTimer with XGPS showed best lap of 1:35.59, my race transponder reported 1:35.599... not bad!
