Transfering VBO file to laptop without internet connection

Is there a way to create and export a VBO file from HLT to my laptop (mac) without an internet connection to support a dropbox or mail connection? I'd like to do this at a track but can't guarantee I'll have an internet connection. The only other option is to use a hotspot and hope for a good internet connection.

E.g., It would be good if the VBO could be exported into the HLT folder accessible from the laptop in iTunes.

That's not possible to my knowledge. I thought about "sending" the export mail. One can touch attachments in mails and send them to a nearly Mac using Airdrop. The problem is that the mail sent will sit in Outbox until it is transferred. When touching an attachment in Outbox Mail behaves slightly different: instead of offering Airdrops etc distribution options, it starts editing the mail...
