How do you load an avatar file?

Post by rbpeirce »

Every time I try to do this I get a message that it can't be done right now and I should try later. Later never seems to come, which suggests I may be doing something wrong.

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

Some issue with the Internet connection, the photo used, some browser cached data, or the current forum software version. I need to update it anyway, but will not be able to do this till end of August. Thanks for your patience.

Oops! I edited it to add the message before I saw your reply.

No hurry. I just wanted to be sure I wasn't doing something wrong. The image is 125x61 pixels and 60Kb in size o it should fit.

Your image should be 65 x 65 to start with and then just make sure that it isnt resized when you upload it to an image hosting site.
