Lap recorded without video - Generate video from .KMZ?

Hello guys!

I bought the app for my first time in the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 20/07/16, but I had a total disastrous experience with the Lap Timer.

I had only 3 laps. The first 2 the app recorded the telemetry data ok, but the video wasn't recorded. The last one I got the video recorded - but it was prematurely ended by 8 mins and without any telemetry whatsoever. There is no registry of the third lap.

Anyway, now I have exported to the PC the two .KMZ data files, and I would like to manually create the map and the speed graphics as they were original. I do have the video from my GoPro, I can mixed it in the editing. Is that possible? I looked for tutorials and researched but found nothing that could convert the .KMZ files into an animation.

Or is that any way that I could import the video to the app so it can make the overlay process for me?

To get video, you need to turn Video Operation on in Timer - Video - Video Operation. Please make sure you grant the permissions requested. You may want to verify they are all ok in Settings app (Privacy for iOS and Apps for Android).

Next, please make sure you have the device mounted like shown in illustration 3 and 4 of LapTimer's Quick Reference.

You can overlay data recorded to a video recorded externally. Read about the process in Video Documentation available from www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation.

PS KMZ is the wrong path for video overlaying.

I'll try the video overlaying right away.

The handy was in a good position, I remember to check the overall status and it was showing all ready except Battery (since I didn't plug an external charger). Check it out:

Success!!!

I have manage to import the video from the GoPro into the iPhone 6s (I used the computer to accurately cut the videos from laps 1 and 2)!!!

Now its perfect! Thank you very much Harry!
