Device orientation

Post by SargeZ06 »

Can my phone be tilted some and turned towards me? I'd rather it be aimed so I can see the screen.

Thanks

Sarge

You can mount the device in almost any orientation. The limitation you are addressing is most probably about the Calibration Presets. These expect a certain tilt and yaw to apply a standard rotation of device acceleration vectors to driving acceleration. So once you use an orientation different to the presets, you need to calibrate your device individually. Please check http://www.gps-laptimer.com/LapTimerDoc ... hapter.pdf for information on how to do this.
