Using only GoPro video

Can anyone run me through the steps of: 1) setting the lap timer to use only the external GoPro camera. I do already have it connected via Bluetooth, but what I want to do is to shut off the phone's camera. 2) After I upload the GoPro video file into my phone, how do I embed it into the lap analysis?

1) Not available in v19, action cam only mode will get available for v20 (sometimes in April). Connection making and 2) video transfer is described in detail in Video Documentation available from www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation.

Thanks for your reply. One more question...will there ever be a version that will allow the lap data on the phone to be downloaded onto my computer, and to have software on the computer where I could play back and analyze the data just as I do on my phone?

There are several 3rd party desktop applications you can use:

Data analytics: Export LapTimer data to .vbo ‣ Racelogic Circuit Tools 2
Video overlaying: Export LapTimer data to .csv ‣ Dashware

Please don't ask for the Harry's desktop application, it slips and slips...
