Crashing during overlay

Gladly. Now that I've figured out how to get everything linked up and started (GoPro3+, 5Hz GPS, GoPoint BT), I expect to have more rally videos next season...

The problem will be fixed in the next version of LapTimer. I found a workaround and added it. The version will be submitted to Apple on Sunday this week and should get available 5 to 7 business days later.

Harry, I am on IOS 9.1 6 Plus wiht over 30GB of storage free.. I am just overlaying imported Video from Kaiser Bass 1080. the clip length is 2:10 mins but the phone crashes exactly at 49%.. is there a work around this?

This is what the thread is about, please read the thread from the end, there is a workaround available. The issue is listed as #2 in viewtopic.php?f=39&t=1693 too. A full workaround is submitted to Apple already.

cool mate.. just done the work around when I clicked Overlay was notified that the video can not be found and asked click OK or Ignore. OK will cancel the overlay and ignore will not overlay the video..

The fix should be released soon right? was it submitted to Apple?

I can confirm that HLT crashes even when overlaying a single GoPro video that's relinked as a master.


1) iPhone 6, 64GB
2) iOS 9.0.2
3) Master video imported from GoPro 3+ Black 1080@30fps.
6) Lap length: 1m30s
7) Overlay got to 40% or so

No PiP was involved here.

In case you use LapTimer GrandPrix you are probably not aware a Reference Lap video is added as PiP?

How do you disable the ref video can not seem to be able to take it off..
