lap timer for motorbike

hi all,
i'm form italy and i'm sorry for my english
i hav just download the app for my iphone; i want use laptimer for my motorbike.
i wat know if when i run in the track i can put the mobile under the seat of the bike or i must put near the dashboard for the gps signal

Either you mount the device like shown in illustration #4 in LapTimer's Quick Reference (wait some seconds to get the motorbike specific picture), or add an external GPS (mounted on the tail or somewhere outside) and place the smartphone under the seat. Make sure the smartphone is on (not sent to sleep) and the screen stays free from "touches".
