I have set the GoPro Hero 4 Silver to record in 720p superview, which gives a very nice wide view that can get all my motorcycle controls, peripherals, and track in the picture.
This is the default video standard I have set up within the GoPro.
When I use Harry's Laptimer to control the GoPro to record via Wifi connection when a POI on a track set is crossed, Harry's Laptimer wakes up my GoPro automatically and starts recording as instructed, but instantly changes my recording settings from 720p Superview to 1080p Medium view.
Medium view is not good for a sportbike as I can't see very much.
How can I get Harry's Laptimer to not change my GoPro settings so that I can continue to record in 720p Superview.
Regards.

Please change LapTimer ‣ Administration ‣ Settings ‣ MultiCam Control ‣ MultiCam Preset to None / Use MultiCam Setting. This will keep your custom settings instead of setting the Master / PiP defaults.

Excellent. The reason I never looked in there is because the app, unless you have the Grand Prix edition, advertises no multicam in Rookie/Petrolhead. Thus it's counterintuitive to look in the mentioned location for that setting.
I recommend you move the setting to somewhere else and that you by default set it to "none" as most people expect their GoPro to record in the settings they designate, not what the software designates.
Regards Harry; this app is really shaping to be quite spectacular.
