Time stamp is off by 4hours (using GMT)

Post by Bellamr »

Hello,

I have the Android Grand Prix version of HLT. I just got it up and running with the PiP. The "Video List" recordings are correct and in local time (EST) on the "GoPro Hero4" as they should, but show up as ahead by 4 hours on the "SD Card (emulated)" Phone Camera recordings. (The time stamp for the GoPro is 7pm [correct] and for the Phone Camera 11pm [ahead by 4 hours and incorrect]).

Also the time stamp on the 11pm recordings shows up in the file browser (/storage/emulated/legacy/movies and /storage/emulated/0/android/data/com.harrys.laptimer/files/movies) with the correct time of 7pm. So the actual time stamp on the file is correct, it is just incorrect in the HLT "Video List".

The GPS screen and the phone also have the correct time as well.

How can I correct this?

Thanks in advance,

Ryan

I doubt you can do something here except subtracting 4 hours. I will check if there is an issue with UTC to local time conversion in video list displays.

Any update on this? I have the same exact issue on my Android Petrolhead. The lap list time stamps are correct, but the video list time stamps are off by 4 hours. Not sure why they would be correct for one, but not the other.

Thanks,
Frank

Because of time zones. Timestamps are available as UTC times from the system but displayed under the assumption it is a local time. Actually this should be fixed in v19.0.23, have you installed the latest version?
