Change timer display

Post by gw2522 »

Is there a way to change the timer display to make the hundredths the same size of seconds.

We always have lap times less than 1 minute so having the minutes displayed are of no value, and the fractions of seconds are too small to see at a glance.

Not currently. You may switch to the gap display - which has the hundreds in large - but it certainly displays a different value...

Damn, that renders it pretty much useless for us then. Main reason was so the driver could see lap times, but on an oval track with sub 15 second lap times there's not much chance to focus on the small hundredths, and that's what were looking for.

Would that be a feature request, or simply not going to happen?

Would be nice if we could change settings to choose what numbers to display large - minutes or hundredths of seconds

Cool program otherwise. Paired it up with a Dual XGS160 and it worked pretty decent.

That's on the feature request list already. I take yours as a +1

Thanks for the reply Harry.

How far down the list would that request be?

I expect its not something you can answer, but I'll ask it anyway, any idea what kind of timeline if any on this?

A simple solution will get available in the next bug fix release already. It will come with a Display Setting named Show Hundreds Large. This setting will show seconds and hundred in large for Timer in landscape and portrait. I actually don't like it too much and so it will probably get some refresh in the future, but it should match your requirements. I have no specific date for the next bug fix release, there are no critical items around. It will be some time in September I guess. Please watch updates and release notes.

Oh that's great!

It doesn't have to be elegant for the heads up display as there's not much time to see anything else anyway.

I'll watch for the update - looking forward to giving it a go
