Harry,
I'm getting really bad artifacts when I overlay gopro video and phone video as insert window. The gopro sourced in HD (720) as did the phone video (droid razr m). Uploading to youtube actually made it better, removed all the artifacts, http://youtu.be/bTEEqNAC-z0. Ideas?

Re: choppy video, artifacts in android gran prix
Please select the highest overlay quality available. I have this set as the default now (v19), but users who joined v18 have a lower setting already. The path is LapTimer ‣ Administration ‣ Settings ‣ Internal Cam ‣ Overlay Quality ‣ Hugh Size, Highest Quality. The "Internal Cam" is misleading here.

So that's for sourcing the video correct? Am I stuck with the current stuff already shot?
Re: choppy video, artifacts in android gran prix
No, that's the quality setting for the overlaid video. Input quality (raw/original video) is defined by the OS, quality / compression of the overlaid video is defined by LT. Revert your lap back to the original video and create the overlay again with improved quality.

That did it - never would have guessed the overlay quality would make that much difference

Just a follow up - the native video is great until I put it on youtube, now it's choppy again! I seem to remember converting to .wmv helps this, thank you youtube... not!
