iPhone 5S - two phones, no picture in picture

Post by Beanster »

I've been trying desperately to get my iPhones (model 5s) to work together with video. I have the GP edition on one phone and MultiCam installed on the other. Neither phone is jail broken.

It appears that the MultiCam phone is uploading the video to iCloud but the master phone simply will not download any of the videos so that I can pair the videos together. I've been trying every setting possible and its driving me bonkers.

Any idea why this wont work?

Can't tell if it's really not working from here...but the thing with iCloud is: it will sync whenever Apple thinks it's alright to do so ;) Even if the Multicam phone has uploaded the videos to the cloud, the main phone does not get the videos immediately.
In general you have to activate iCloud functionality on both phones / Apps and if I remember right also grant the Apps permition for iCloud data sync in the iOS settings.
I you prefer to handle your data yourself and in real time, look for a tool called i-Funbox (infos here in the forums).
