iphone 5 problems with overlay IOS 8.0.2

Hi Harry,

My brother was using HLT and with his iphone 5 (IOS 8.0.2) and he was wondering if you can give some input on the bugs he was seeing in his overlayed session.

* At 02:47 the GPS and Speed indicator freezes and remains frozen for the duration of the session.

*At 04:48 the lap ends, but the lap timer restarts immediately starting at the 00:06 mark. My brother gets a time of 2:33 according to the overlay for that lap, which is inaccurate. However, when he overlays that single lap instead of the entire session, the lap time is accurate.

*At 07:15, the overlay briefly disappears when the lap ends, but reappears again shortly after with the lap timer starting at 00:00, which produces an inaccurate lap time for that lap.

Please let me know your thoughts on this.

Pretty strange behavior there...I suppose it's simply due to bad GPS reception since the track plot looks somewhat "edgy". The positioning of the phone on the windscreen looks good, but sometimes fancy sun / heat reflecting windows / windshields make GPS reception almost impossible...experienced that myself once in a friend's S-class trying to use the Navigon App because the onboard System didn't have the address. Couldn't believe it but it immediately worked once I opened the roof quite a Faraday cage.
That being said, I don't know if the no reception idea works together with Laptimer still re-starting at start finish but not counting laps anymore...maybe there's more to it.

Just noticed the lap counter jumps from 10 to 15 at 02:47. Then I would guess it's more a problem with corrupted data / database. You can run a database check from the laps list, there's a button at the bottom. You can also check individual laps by pressing "recalculate" in the details view of one lap.

Couldn't check the video... In case the strange displays occur at lap transitions (i.e. 1st to 2nd etc), this is a known issue fixed in the upcoming version 18.3.6. Workaround: create individual lap overlays currently. In case the wrong data appears during a lap, the data is not o.k. and you probably suffered from GPS drops or similar.

The GPS position and the speed freeze after the first lap of the video, the lapcounter jumps from 10 to 15 and Laptimer restarts the lap time but still with GPS speed and postion frozen. It stays that way for all the rest of the laps.

Ok, so it is the problem fixed in 18.3.6. This one occurred intermittently and dates back to the first multi lap overlay release made available...

Have any of you had any problems with the app crashing in the middle of a session? This happened twice with my brother. Not sure if this has to do with IOS 8.0.2 before the updated HLT.

There are no known issues like this with last two versions of LT. Which device configuration is he using?
