Split Laps

Post by llan981 »

I read somewhat that after 18.1 you can split laps. How do you do a basic split when you may have 2 laps combined.

The first question is: Is the data in the Lap List? If not, I doubt that there's anything that can be done.

[Thread moved to "Using LapTimer"]

To split a recording that should actually be 2 laps into 2 recordings 1 lap each, go through these steps:

1) Make sure you have the proper Track Set loaded
2) Navigate to Lap List -> the multi lap recording -> scroll down to Recalculate -> select "Validate Lap"

On data recording preview it clearly shows two laps. It did not work on validate lap wide.

What exactly happens for validate laps? Please name the track set used and post an .hlptrl export of the recording it is applied to here.
