send and receive between iPhone and iPad

Hello,

I'm a newbie to Laptimer and am trying to copy data to my iPad. When selecting 'export' and 'send trackday to friend' on the iPhone and 'receive lap from friend' on the iPad, both show the window 'Choose an iPad, iPhone or iPod touch' but neither of them show in the others list. So there is no device to select and send the data to (or to receive from in that matter).

Is there a description on how this can be done?

Hi,

I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but the device 2 device transfer function is not working since iOS7. To transfer your data, please export it to a mail file using the .hlptrl format. Once you receive the mail on your iPad, touch the .hlptrl / .hlptrz attachment and selection LapTimer to import it. Except the transportation method, that's the same functionality.

I managed to transfer the data, but am missing the video. I've read that they show up in the regular foto app, but on my iPhone they are invissable, even thouh I can view them in Laptimer on it. Has this to do with IOS 8 as well?

They show up in the Photo when overlaid or when transferred from LapTimer manually. To do the later, navigate to Video List -> any video in LapTimer Recordings -> Move (to Photo / flower). As this changes the link between laps and video (video is in a new position), you may want to do that before exporting / importing the .hlptrl files. Btw. videos are too big to send them by mail or using Bluetooth (device 2 device). Photo app and youtube have better options to transfer them.
