Problem with overlay

Post by GlnkNL »

120hp 1400kg commuter car on a wet/damp 'ring. Why not?

@3:30 - A little moment with a very slow Honda Civic driver after the Fuchsrohre. Audi brakes are good
@4:40 - BMW M3 killer :)
@6:20 - 145kmh and dropping speed in 4th gear full throttle on the uphill straight :)

The triggers and corner names are not working anymore. Is there any way to recalculate the lap and split times and fix the overlay? BTG time is supposed to be around 9:45

You recorded "manually" instead of using the certified track set. So split recognition is not what you want, instead you need to ask LapTimer to recognize the BTG track boundaries. This is done using "Verify Lap". Before you select this option, please load the track set (Nordschleife BTG) from Add-ons and export your current lap to .hlptrl. Please send the later to me so I can check why it crashes.

Once you have loaded the track set and verified the lap, you should find one extending from bridge to gantry. POIs will be inserted too for a new overlay.

I started manually this time because last time that I was on the Nordschleife it did not start at all. Manual control > no control at all.

When I load the track set from add-ons I'm getting this problem again:

If I choose purge then my Nurburgring GP triggers are screwed up, right?
and export your current lap to .hlptrl.
Another thing thats seems to be broken since iOS8:

Sounds great but when I'm in the 'recalculate' menu and choose 'verify lap' the app freezes and eventually crashes back to the iphone menu.

I forwarded you the hlptrl file via e-mail. I hope it's useful

I will check the export and come back. On the Track Set, please purge the GP set. You can reload it any time without losing anything.

Hi,

Thanks for sending. I tested your export but no crash here... Maybe it is due to the iOS8 developer version I'm using (instead of the production version), but most probably it is due to some database inconsistencies. Please try "Check Data" from the bottom of Lap List and retry the split recognition. In case the crash does not go away, please either wait for the upcoming iOS8 bug fix release, or check if you can find crash logs as described here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1115

:-D That's not a crash but the app is frozen. That's a known problem with iOS8 and will be fixed in the upcoming bug fix release 18.3.3. Sorry I didn't recognize the situation immediately - the video made it clear :-)

Yes, but not for the recalculation. Please check the thread on iOS8 issues here on the forum. Besides crashes when rotating the device, this issue is listed too.
