i did a nordschleife lap with my girlfriend @ nordschleife

i was running harry's laptimer and i loaded btg lap.
i was using my just acquired xgps160 with a helper app and something went wrong so no overlay this time.
i just figured now that you dont need a helper app at all, so better luck next time.

by the way is it possible to load the data from a lap in something like motec or other telemetry software.

Helper app, or direct access by LapTimer. Both at the same time do not work as they access the GPS mouse in parallel. So please turn them off, they are a vehicle for apps that are not GPS aware

To analyze LapTimer data on a desktop, try the VBO export and use Circuit Tools by Racelogic.

Or export the .csv file and put it in a spreadsheet. Circuit Tools can be annoying at times, especially with regard to trigger locations. It probably works better for tracks than it does for autocross.
