Lost all data

Post by llan981 »

I was at Watkins Glen Internation, NY today with my IPOd 5thGen, Dual160, and added new was the GoPoint BT1a. Did a session and all worked well and actually created a overlay of a couple of the laps. Then it happened so fast. It seemed I got a message if I wanted to update my vehicle spec with the OBD device. I said yes, the detail on my 13 Boxster S disappeared and then 3 vehicles appeared, unspecified Porsche 911 C2 (997, and an Aprila Falco SL1000 appeared. Shortly thereafter HLT froze and when I restarted the app the database is gone. Any clue??

I also have a copy my previous track files in an email and in dropbox. How do I repopulate but more importantly what happened above?

Hi,

LapTimer has reset your database due to some inconsistencies, but usually backups a copy of your database before it does this. Please check this post on how to reset your database to a recent backup: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2144#p10965

Harry. Thanks so much. That worked perfectly.

As for the CAR detail I listed for my 13 Boxster S specifications, cany idea why that got overwritten with the cars I mentioned earlier?
