Overlaying another users video on mine

I would like to use a friends lap as a ref lap on my video. both recorded via HLP.

where can I find instructions on how to do that?

Ask him to export the lap to .hlptrl and to send the mail to you. Open the attachment on you iPhone to import it into LapTimer. Copy the raw video from your friend's phone to your phone (Documents folder, try iBrowse to copy it). Verify the lap shows the video preview in LapTimer. Select the lap as the reference lap (button in bottom of Lap Details). Select your lap for overlay. Verify the reference lap is the one you want (shown in Lap Details) and start the overlay. Select Reference Lap to be included. Overlay.
