workflow suggestion please (large files, little space left)

It took icloud sync overnight to transfer 2gigs in 4 videos. There is no estimate of time remaining anywhere, its just wait and see with icloud. I want to be able to control things more :)

Both connected to wifi? During transfer, LapTimer shows the progress in Video Details. But you are right, having no "do it now" option is odd.
