Video export with overlay not found in iPhone camera roll?

Post by robmclear »

I've used LapTimer for a couple years now, and last week when I set it up for the first time this season, I got good video and data, but when I overlay data on a video of a lap, the program finishes the overlay and says that it is exporting to the camera roll, but there are no videos in my camera roll. Tried several times. Checked the Settings under Privacy and Harry's has access to my camera roll.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Are you looking at Photos, not Videos?

While I was about to post something to the effect that 'I'm not so stupid as to be looking in Videos and not in the Photos app…duh.", it was in fact even stupider than that. My phone was full. Now, maybe the app could better indicate that a video has not been saved because the phone is full, but I should really have known better. I deleted some older videos and now new ones save just fine.

Maybe this helps somebody?

I had the exact same thing happen. After the overlay there was an indication that it was transferring to my library, but nothing there. I waited 12 hours and tried again and it showed up. I noticed the transfer part of the overlay took longer when it actually worked.
