Video Overlay: OBD2 speed and GPS speed

Post by chneo1982 »

Hi Harry,

Thanks for the V18 update!

I noticed for the video overlay options you have included toggles for GPS speed and OBD2.

However when i selected GPS speed together with OBD2, the displayed speed in the video still comes from the OBD2.

Is this the way it's supposed to be? Or is there a way to display speed from GPS device while showing all other data from OBD at the same time?

Thanks!

Hi,

Actually GPS speed should be shown together with OBD data when the GPS Speed switch is ticked. Can you please verify your observation and come back again. In case it shows OBD still, I need to add this to the bug list.

I have tried many times, it still shows OBD speed despite GPS speed selected.

The top left hand corner showing straight, corner speeds etc is showing the GPS data.

But the speed at the bottom is still showing OBD data. My speed is stuck at 141kph because i have a speed cut device connected to my ECU.

That is why i know bottom speed displayed is still from OBD.

O.k., thanks for reporting. There is indeed an initialization missing for the speed gadget in the bottom left. Will be fixed in the next update.
